Les golfeurs Indiens et Français en compétition pour cette 1ère édition de la France-India Business Cup ont donc troqué hier leurs clubs contre des maillets pour une après-midi de polo, non pas à cheval mais bien en voiturettes de golf.

L’équipe Indienne composée de M. Ranjan Bakhshi Captain Hcp 11, M. Jagdeep Singh Cheema Hcp 15, M. Dan Oiknine Hcp 22, M. Ranjan Mathai Hcp 25 (Ambassadeur de l'Inde) et l’équipe Française composée de M. Michel Fernet Captain Hcp 15, M. Jean-Etienne Matton Hcp 12, M. Alexandre Lefebvre Hcp 15, M. Didier Salvage Hcp 25 se sont affrontées dans une ambiance conviviale.

La France sort vainqueur par 4 à 2 de cette compétition inédite, sur le cumul des points obtenus à l'issue des rencontres de golf en match play individuels sur 9 trous et des buts marqués sur le terrain de polo.

The Indian and French golf players in competition for this 1st edition of the France-India Business Cup exchanged yesterday their clubs for mallets for an afternoon of polo, not on horseback but in golf carts.

The Indian team including Mr Ranjan Bakhshi Captain Hcp 11, Mr Jagdeep Singh Cheema Hcp 15, Mr Dan Oiknine Hcp 22, Mr Ranjan Mathai Hcp 25 (Ambassador India of) and the team French composed of Mr Michel Fernet Captain Hcp 15, Mr Jean-Etienne Matton Hcp 12, Mr Alexander Lefebvre Hcp 15, Mr Didier Salvage Hcp 25 played in an entertaining atmosphere.

France wins by 4 to 2 this new competition, on the heap of the points won at the end of the golf meeting in individual match play on 9 holes and goals on the polo field.
